MyCollegely Terms and Conditions

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using MyCollegely, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms. If you do not agree, please refrain from using our services.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use MyCollegely. Users under 18 must have parental or guardian consent.

3. User Accounts

Registration: To access certain features, you must create an account by providing accurate and complete information.
Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account.
Notifications: Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Services Provided

MyCollegely offers:

Peer-powered college counseling and mentorship
Essay feedback, resume guidance, and application review
Readiness assessments (e.g., MyCollegely Pulse)
Access to webinars, downloadable guides, and planning tools
Community forums and alumni networks for peer learning

We reserve the right to change or discontinue services without notice.

5. User Conduct

You agree not to:

Use MyCollegely for unlawful purposes
Post or transmit harmful, offensive, or infringing content
Disrupt or interfere with the security or functionality of the platform
Impersonate any person or entity

6. Content Ownership and Use

User Content: You retain ownership of content you submit but grant MyCollegely a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute such content.
Platform Content: All other content is owned by MyCollegely or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.

7. Payments and Refunds

§ Payments: Certain services may require payment. All fees are clearly stated and must be paid in advance.

§ Refunds: You may claim a full refund within 24 hours of payment, provided no service has been availed. If you are not satisfied with the mentor matched, we will offer a different mentor. If you're still not satisfied, a partial refund may be issued at our discretion

8. Service Use Disclaimer

Informational Purpose Only: MyCollegely is an educational platform. All materials, advice, and guidance are for informational purposes only and should not be construed as guarantees of admission, scholarships, or job placements.
Peer-Powered Services: Many of our services are delivered by students or recent graduates. While we provide internal training and oversight, we do not claim these individuals are licensed professionals or certified advisors.
Outcome Disclaimer: College admissions are influenced by many external factors beyond our control. MyCollegely does not promise or imply admission to any specific institution.
User Responsibility: It is your responsibility to verify and make final decisions regarding college choices, timelines, and document submissions. We encourage users to cross-reference any guidance with official college websites or admissions offices.
Third-Party Resources: MyCollegely may link to or recommend third-party tools and services. We are not responsible for their content, accuracy, or privacy policies.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to MyCollegely at our discretion, without notice, for conduct that violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or us.

10. Disclaimers

MyCollegely provides services “as-is,” without warranties of any kind.
We do not guarantee uninterrupted access or that the content will be error-free.
We are not responsible for any loss of data or delays resulting from internet connectivity or user hardware issues.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, MyCollegely shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.
